340 kilometers of charging in 10 minutes
Let’s start with the technology, because it is bizarre. The Zeekr 7GT sits on an advanced 800V platform and can fast charge at a whopping 480 kW. By comparison, a Porsche Taycan peaks around 320 kW and a Tesla reaches 250 kW. In practice, this means you go from 10 to 80 percent charge in 13 minutes. In 10 minutes you pump in 340 kilometers of driving range.

It suddenly makes long drives across Europe a lot less stressful. “Long charging stops are a thing of the past,” boasts Zeekr. And with these figures, they have a point. The entry-level version (with 75 kWh LFP battery) charges slightly “slower,” but is still blazing fast at 13 minutes.
Sports car performance for a family car
Things are also serious in terms of speed. The top version, the Privilege AWD, has two engines that combine to produce 646 hp and 710 Nm of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is squeaked by in 3.3 seconds. With that, you’ll drive most supercars right through the traffic lights while traveling with the whole family and luggage (456 liters).

Even the entry-level (Business Edition RWD) is anything but slow with 421 hp and 5.3 seconds to 100. This version gets 519 kilometers on a charge. Want to go really far? Then there’s the Long Range version with a 100 kWh NMC battery good for a WLTP range of 655 kilometers.
Cinema on your windshield
Inside, the tech show continues. The dashboard is dominated by a 15-inch OLED screen, but the real eye-catcher is the Augmented Reality Head-Up Display of a whopping 35.5 inches. That projects navigation and speed as if it were on the road.

The car runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, which means everything works smoothly. There is facial recognition to load your profile, and you can even game or conference via the built-in 5G connection. For audiophiles, there’s a Yamaha sound system with 23 speakers, including speakers in the driver’s headrest.
Price breaker
But the real bang comes at the box office. The Zeekr 7GT can be ordered immediately starting at €45,990. For that money, you get a car almost 5 meters long, packed with options such as a panoramic glass roof, matrix LED headlights and a comprehensive package of driver assistance systems(Zeekr Assisted Drive).

Want the fat AWD version with air suspension, massage seats and orange brake calipers? Then you’ll pay more, but still a fraction of what a comparable Audi or BMW costs. With features like a ski hatch, “camping mode” and a towing weight of 1,600 kg, Zeekr seems to understand exactly what the European buyer wants: everything, for little.
